How do you know when you need a lawyer?

1.  Your ticket has points. If your ticket concerns equipment malfunction or failure (headlights, tinted windows, etc.), or perhaps improper pickup, there are no points. You have the choice to pay the ticket, defend it yourself or hire an attorney.

2. You have a 0-point ticket and a ticket carrying points. Time to lawyer up. Rather than have 2 possible guilty tickets on your permanent record, you stand a better chance of winning at least one ticket when you have an attorney.

3. You don’t have the time to go to court, and it’s convenient and easy to pay online. After all, the points go away when you pay, don’t they? No! They do not. If you do not have the time, there is an able traffic lawyer who will have the time, and who will defend the ticket at least as well as you could, and probably better.
